Jari Imbesi

A director with a strong background in advertising and creative industries. While getting a degree in Economics at the University of Milan, he developed a deep interest for Films and Commercials. He started his initial steps as an extreme action filmmaker for Burton Snowboards and as an assistant Director in RCR Films, where he worked for the most renowned directors in Spain. He soon made his directional debut and after shooting a few successful music videos and being awarded by MTV, he launched his career as a commercial director. He then honed his technical and visual skills working internationally between Barcelona, Los Angeles, Milan and London, focusing mostly on lifestyle, extreme and action sports commercials. All his films are permeated with an obsession with music, rhythm, terrific landscape and emotions that collapses viewers into his unique world. His style could be defined as powerful, truthful and emotional. Human stories and real characters represent the inspiration for his works. Some of the clients he has worked for are Red Bull, Mustang, Pepsi, Ducati, Vans and DJI, to name a few.
